Comments
When visitors submit their comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help in spam detection.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Who we share your data with
As a standard policy, the NFDC does NOT share your data with any other person or entity. However, Members may kindly note that the NFDC is obliged to share data with Law Enforcement Agencies should this date be demanded by such agencies. However, Members can rest assured that due diligence as to the legality, extent and quantity of data demanded by Law Enforcement Agencies will be exercised prior to sharing any data. If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
How long we retain your data
The NFDC does NOT retain user data as a matter of policy except for the purpose of identifying and authorising Members to access the content on this website. This identifying and authorisation data is stored in the server database with adequate security measures to protect this data from unauthorised access.
For users that are registered on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where your data is sent
As a matter of policy, the NFDC does not send your data to any person or entity other than the web-server hosting this website. The website administrator may take backups of the website which may also include member data. This backup data is required to be archived to restore the site in case of a server crash, However, all precautions to protect this data are taken to ensure that no unauthorised access is allowed to this data.
